Christmastide and Candlemas
In the older tradition (which is still kept in the liturgical calendar of the Extraordinary Form of the Mass), Christmas lasts until Candlemas, or the Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Presentation of the Lord, which we celebrate on 2nd February.
Abortion Act: 50 Years Later
2017 marks the fiftieth anniversary of the passing of the Abortion Act in the United Kingdom. To mark this, Bishop John would like to invite all our parishes and schools to send two representatives to a meeting being held in January.
