On the First Friday of the Month, we honour the Sacred Heart of Jesus, as requested by Jesus to St Margaret Mary
Alacoque (1647-1690).
His human heart was to be a symbol of His divine-human love. By St Margaret Mary’s own love she was to make up for the coldness and ingratitude of the world by frequent and loving Holy Communion, especially on the First Friday of each month.
As well as the 10am Mass, there will also be Stations of the Cross afterwards on each First Friday.
